Decentralized content registry: expanding IPFS functionality with cosmos based blockchain

We are building a general digital content registry called International Standard Content Number (ISCN) which is using the Cosmos-based blockchain to validate and store the registry itself. However, it is not intuitive and easy to use for users to query the registry directly from the blockchain, and now we are riding on the powerful distributed file system InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) to make some plugins to help to distribute the registries globally decentrally and distributed.

Service mesh on OpenShift

The term service mesh is used to describe the network of microservices that make up such applications and the interactions between them. As a service mesh grows in size and complexity, it can become harder to understand and manage. Its requirements can include traffic management, observability, policy enforcement, service identity and security.

In this session, we will take a look at Istio and how it provides behavioral insights and operational control over the service mesh as a whole, offering a complete solution to satisfy the diverse requirements of microservice applications.
